David, age 51 passed away unexpectedly at his home November 3, 2016 in Denver, Colorado. He was born October 13, 1965 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to Lois and Wayne Horndt. He graduated in 1983 from Southgate Anderson High School in Southgate, Michigan. A resident of Colorado since 1999, David had worked for years for Truven Health Analytics in Greenwood Village.
He is survived by his father Wayne of Roscommon, MI, siblings Christin (Jim) Bates of Roscommon, MI, Steve Horndt of Dearborn, MI and nephew, Steven of Angora, Minnesota. David was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Horndt in 2008.
David had many talents expressed through his hobbies. He loved restoring vintage stereo equipment, modifying drum sets for artistic display and refurbishing computers for friends and family. In addition to his family, David leaves behind many friends in Colorado and Michigan who will miss his wit and sense of humor.
Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held in Roscommon, Michigan at a later date.
