John Leo Pena was born on May 2nd, 1952 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to his parents, Annie and Benny Pena. He graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a Bachelor’s degree in sociology. He was an avid pool player, who enjoyed music, reading, fishing and watching the Denver Broncos.
John Pena is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Chrissy Pena; his daughters Melissa Pena, Jordana and Justine Pena; sisters, Linda and Gloria Pena; brother, Ernest Medina; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents, Annie Medina and Benny Pena and sister, Rose Pena.
A memorial service will take place on December 16th at 11:00 a.m., at Community Revival Church at 4411 W. 64th Ave in Arvada, Colorado. All are welcome to attend and celebrate John Pena’s life.
