Mary was loved and cherished by all her family and friends. Mary is survived by her husband Ronald Hamilton, one sister, Marge Brown, and her sister-in-law’s, Ila Samson and Sandra Loosvelt. She leaves a son Greg Hamilton, and a daughter Debra Oppenheimer and son-in-law Shaun Oppenheimer. She was preceded in death by her parents Art and Eva Loosveldt of Rushville, Nebraska, and siblings Dorothy Coon and Edmund Loosvelt. She passed away surrounded by her family.
Ronald and Mary were 47 year residents of Strasburg, Colorado. Mary worked at the elementary school as a librarian until they opened The Corner Market and later the Feed store which they owned for many years
They were long time volunteers at the Strasburg food bank. In Lieu of flowers and to honor Mary’s sprit of helping at the food bank, please make donations to the Strasburg Food Bank.at P.O. Box 913, Strasburg, CO 80136.
Services will be held at Our Lady of the Plains Catholic Church, 186 N. McDonnell St., Byers CO 80103 Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11:00.
