Stella Castro, 74, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. A beautiful soul, Stella was loving, funny, giving, creative, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Antionette Barajas-Hamilton, Renee Whalen, and Christopher Barajas; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rebecca, Ida, Naomi, and Catherine; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cireo and Flora Zuniga; siblings, Margaret Maestas, David Zuniga, and Cireo Zuniga, Jr.; and grandson, Baby Chris Barajas.
A Memorial Service will be held in her honor on Thursday, February 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Horan & McConaty, 3020 Federal Boulevard, Denver, CO 80211.
We will always carry her memory and the many memories she gave us in our hearts forever.
